Wetland Permit Project Examples:
- At a 222-acre site on Lake Cushetunk in central New Jersey, we redelineated the
wetlands for Trammell Crow to provide them with a consistent and defensible boundary.
We then secured necessary permits and designed appropriate mitigation to allow for construction of the
major residential subdivision Lake Cushetunk Woods.
- In Bucks County, Pennsylvania we identified the limits of wetlands on a 4-acre site and devised the onsite
mitigation required for a minor encroachment approved through a general permit.
- In southwestern Pennsylvania we secured individual state and Federal permits to fill 40 acres of wetlands
for a major new landfill. We crafted an alternative analysis that successfully demonstrated the lack of sites in a two-county study area
with fewer impacts than the selected site. We then selected sites feasible for wetland creation and designed the successful mitigation for the unavoidable
fill.
- In southern New Jersey, we prepared individual permit applications for the individual Federal and state
permits necessary to expand an existing industrial building into reed-covered wetlands. After the permits were
approved, we designed the nearby replacement wetland creation sites to offset the unavoidable loss and monitored
the successful establishment of new wetlands.
